![]() There are 50 levels total in Adventure mode, featuring a total of 150 stars to collect, the game modes that are unique to this game mode will be listed and explained separately on their own page. There are also so called Supers, different abilities given to the ship itself, these abilities range from homing missiles, to stationary turrets, these can be used alongside the bombs given to the player. The player can also equip the ship with multiple different Drones, these help the player by performing different actions, such as collecting Geoms and increasing firepower. Each different shape gives the player a different ship upgrade, these range from a shield that gives the player invulnerability, to a pulse that destroys nearby enemies on contact. ![]() Most levels feature so called Super States, these are power-ups have the unique appearance of multiple small dots that together form a shape, these must be destroyed in order to get the super state. The most noticeable feature of Adventure mode is that for the first time, the series feature fully 3D levels, these levels come in many different shapes and sizes and changes the gameplay dramatically, some levels might be split in half by a wall, and some might even change the longer a game progresses. Two features similar to this mode would later be added in the Evolved update, these are known as Ultimate Mode and Hardcore Mode and contain many of the features and adding both new levels and newer ways to play. The mode is inspired by the Galaxy mode featured in Geometry Wars: Galaxies, and some elements have been borrowed and improved upon. Adventure Mode is a feature that made its first appearance in Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.Īdventure mode is played across a large map featuring a large host of different three-dimensional maps featuring multiple game types, some of which are not included in Classic Mode.
